About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern Grad, you will support the daily operations of our pharmacy in Queens Village. This role focuses on providing clinical services, managing pharmacy workflows, and ensuring that our patients receive accurate medication and health guidance. You will work closely with the Pharmacy Manager to maintain high standards of care and operational efficiency.
What you'll do#
- Consult with customers on medication usage, potential drug interactions, and preventive healthcare services like immunizations.
- Handle compounding, dispensing, and verification of prescriptions while following company policy and federal or state laws.
- Support pharmacy financials, inventory management, and overall workflow to improve the customer experience.
- Greet patients, assist with their needs, and resolve issues as they arise.
- Counsel patients on side effects, contraindications, and the use of over-the-counter products.
- Perform clinical services including flu shots and diabetes awareness screenings.
- Assist the Pharmacy Manager with staff training, hiring, and performance coaching.
What you'll need#
- You are working toward or have obtained a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited school before your start date.
- You are willing to obtain pharmacist licensure from the state Board of Pharmacy within 90 days of hire.
- You have prior experience with prescription dispensing and a solid understanding of controlled substance laws.
- You are a certified immunizer or are willing to become one within 90 days of starting.

- This position is based on-site in Queens Village, New York.
- The role is part-time with a rolling term.
