About the role#
This is a full-time Pharmacy Intern Grad position based in Jacksonville, North Carolina. You will work on-site to support pharmacy operations, provide clinical services, and assist with staff development. This role is designed for individuals working toward their pharmacy credentials.
What you'll do#
- Consult with customers on medication usage, drug interactions, and side effects.
- Perform clinical tasks including compounding, drug therapy reviews, and medication management.
- Administer preventive healthcare services like immunizations and flu shots.
- Ensure pharmacy operations follow regulatory guidelines and company policies.
- Process insurance claims and coordinate with medical providers to resolve issues.
- Support pharmacy workflow, including opening and closing procedures.
- Assist the pharmacy manager with inventory management and financial performance tracking.
- Coach staff members and provide feedback to support team development.
What you'll need#
- Pursuit of a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution.
- Ability to obtain pharmacist licensure from the Board of Pharmacy within 90 days of hire.
- Current certification as an immunizer or willingness to become certified within 90 days of hire.
