About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern Grad, you will support pharmacy operations while gaining practical experience in a retail setting. This role involves balancing clinical responsibilities with operational tasks to ensure patients receive accurate care and guidance. You will work on-site to help manage pharmacy workflows, assist with inventory, and engage directly with the community.
What you'll do#
- Provide pharmacy consulting services to customers regarding medication usage, potential drug interactions, and preventive healthcare options.
- Perform clinical tasks including compounding, drug therapy reviews, and the verification of prescribed medications.
- Administer preventive healthcare services, such as immunizations, to patients.
- Support the pharmacy manager with financial analysis, inventory management, and staff training or performance coaching.
- Process insurance claims and coordinate with medical providers to clarify prescriptions or dosage information.
- Maintain proficiency in pharmacy systems including Intercom Plus, registers, and automation tools.
- Participate in community outreach to promote pharmacy services and build relationships with local healthcare providers.
- Ensure the pharmacy remains in compliance with all regulations and company policies.
What you'll need#
- A willingness to obtain a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree from an accredited institution.
- A commitment to obtaining pharmacist licensure from the Board of Pharmacy within 90 days of hire.
- Current certification as an immunizer, or a willingness to become certified within 90 days of hire.

- This is a part-time, paid position based in Miami, Florida.
- The role is on-site and follows a rolling application term.
