About the role#
This is a full-time Pharmacy Intern Grad position based in Petoskey, Michigan. You will work on-site to support pharmacy operations, patient care, and team management. This role is intended for individuals preparing to transition into a licensed pharmacist position.
What you'll do#
- Provide consulting services to customers regarding medication use, drug interactions, and preventive healthcare.
- Perform compounding, medication review, verification, and dispensation.
- Engage with customers to resolve issues and answer questions.
- Maintain pharmacy operations in compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Process insurance claims and resolve payment rejections.
- Deliver clinical and wellness services, including immunizations.
- Use pharmacy systems such as Intercom Plus and StoreNET.
- Assist the pharmacy manager with staff hiring, training, and performance management.
What you'll need#
- Willingness to obtain a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree before the start date.
- Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure within 90 days of hire.
- Current certification as an immunizer or the willingness to become one within 90 days of hire.
