About the role#
This is a part-time Pharmacy Intern Grad position at Walgreens. You will provide pharmacy consulting services, manage medication dispensation, and support the pharmacy team in daily operations. This role focuses on delivering healthcare services while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
What you'll do#
- Engage with customers to offer assistance, resolve issues, and provide a positive experience.
- Counsel patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and drug interactions.
- Perform clinical tasks including compounding, drug therapy reviews, and medication verification.
- Administer immunizations and other preventive healthcare services.
- Assist the pharmacy manager with inventory management, performance analysis, and staff training.
- Maintain proficiency in pharmacy systems and ensure accurate processing of insurance claims.
What you'll need#
- Willingness to obtain a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree.
- Ability to obtain pharmacist licensure within 90 days of hire.
- Status as a Certified Immunizer, or willingness to become one within 90 days of hire.
