About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern Grad, you will support the daily operations of our pharmacy while gaining hands-on experience in clinical and retail services. This role focuses on patient care, medication management, and workflow efficiency. You will work under the guidance of the pharmacy manager to provide health services and ensure our pharmacy meets all regulatory standards.
What you'll do#
- Engage with customers by greeting them, answering questions, and offering assistance with products and services.
- Provide patient counseling regarding medication usage, side effects, interactions, and contraindications.
- Perform pharmacist tasks such as compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
- Assist the pharmacy manager with workflow optimization, inventory management, and financial performance analysis.
- Ensure accurate processing of insurance claims and follow up with medical providers to clarify prescriptions.
- Deliver clinical and wellness services, including immunizations and flu shots.
- Support staff hiring, training, and performance coaching.
- Maintain current knowledge of pharmacy systems and communicate corporate health strategies to the team.
What you'll need#
- Willingness to obtain a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution before your start date.
- Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure from the state Board of Pharmacy within 90 days of hire.
- Current certification as an immunizer, or a willingness to become certified within 90 days of hire.

- Compensation: $33.50 to $45.30 per hour, depending on experience and location.
