About the role#
This is a full-time, paid Pharmacy Intern Grad position based in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. You will work on-site to support pharmacy operations, patient care, and team leadership. This role is open on a rolling basis.
What you'll do#
- Provide pharmacy consulting services, including medication usage, drug interactions, and preventive healthcare.
- Handle the compounding, dispensation, review, and verification of prescribed medications.
- Assist the pharmacy manager with workflow efficiency, financial optimization, and inventory management.
- Engage with customers to resolve issues and model service standards.
- Counsel patients on side effects, contraindications, and product information.
- Maintain pharmacy systems and suggest ways to improve productivity.
- Process insurance claims and coordinate with medical providers.
- Perform clinical services like immunizations and flu shots.
- Help the pharmacy manager with staff hiring, training, and performance coaching.
- Participate in community outreach to support pharmacy growth.
What you'll need#
- Willingness to obtain a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree from an accredited institution before your start date.
- Ability to obtain pharmacist licensure from the state Board of Pharmacy within 90 days of hire.
- Current certification as an immunizer, or the willingness to become one within 90 days of hire.
