About the role#
This is a full-time Pharmacy Intern Grad position based in West Branch, Michigan. You will work on-site, providing clinical services and supporting pharmacy operations. This role focuses on patient care, medication management, and team leadership.
What you'll do#
- Provide pharmacy consulting services, including medication usage, drug interactions, and preventive healthcare.
- Perform immunizations and wellness services like flu shots.
- Manage the compounding, review, and verification of prescribed medications.
- Support pharmacy workflow, inventory management, and financial performance.
- Counsel patients on side effects, contraindications, and over-the-counter products.
- Process insurance claims and coordinate with medical providers to clarify prescriptions.
- Assist the pharmacy manager with staff training, hiring, and performance coaching.
- Maintain proficiency with pharmacy systems such as Intercom Plus and StoreNET.
What you'll need#
- A Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree from an accredited institution, to be obtained prior to your start date.
- Pharmacist licensure from the state Board of Pharmacy within 90 days of hire.
- Certification as an immunizer, or a willingness to complete this certification within 90 days of hire.
