About the role#
This is a full-time Pharmacy Intern Grad position based in Everett, Massachusetts. You will work on-site to support pharmacy operations, patient care, and team management. This role focuses on the transition from transactional tasks to interpersonal healthcare services.
What you'll do#
- Provide pharmacy consulting services regarding medication usage, drug interactions, and side effects.
- Perform clinical and wellness services, including immunizations and preventive healthcare.
- Ensure accurate compounding, dispensation, review, and verification of prescribed medications.
- Support efficient pharmacy workflow, including opening and closing duties.
- Assist the pharmacy manager with inventory management, financial performance analysis, and staff training.
- Process insurance claims and communicate with medical providers regarding dosages and refills.
- Resolve customer issues and model service best practices for the team.
- Ensure all operations comply with regulations and company policies.
What you'll need#
- Willingness to obtain a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree from an accredited institution before your start date.
- Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure from the Board of Pharmacy within 90 days of hire.
- Must be a certified immunizer or willing to become one within 90 days of hire.
