About the role#
This is a full-time, on-site Pharmacy Intern Grad position based in East Grand Forks, Minnesota. You will work under the pharmacy manager to support daily operations, patient care, and staff development. This role focuses on transitioning from transactional pharmacy tasks to direct patient interaction and clinical service delivery.
What you'll do#
- Provide consulting services to customers regarding medication usage, drug interactions, and preventive healthcare.
- Perform pharmacist tasks such as compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
- Deliver clinical services including immunizations and flu shots.
- Ensure accurate processing of insurance claims and coordinate with medical providers to clarify prescriptions.
- Support pharmacy workflow, inventory management, and financial optimization.
- Assist the pharmacy manager with staff hiring, training, and performance coaching.
- Maintain proficiency in pharmacy systems like Intercom Plus, registers, and StoreNET.
- Stay current on healthcare developments through industry journals and company communications.
What you'll need#
- Willingness to obtain a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree from an accredited institution before your start date.
- Ability to obtain pharmacist licensure from the state Board of Pharmacy within 90 days of hire.
- Status as a Certified Immunizer or willingness to become one within 90 days of hire.
