About the role#
This is a full-time Pharmacy Intern Grad position based in Delafield, Wisconsin. You will support the pharmacy team by providing clinical services, managing daily operations, and ensuring high-quality patient care. This role involves working on-site and is a paid position.
What you'll do#
- Provide pharmacy consulting services and counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, and interactions.
- Perform compounding, verification, and dispensation of medications while following regulatory guidelines.
- Assist the pharmacy manager with inventory management, financial performance, and workflow optimization.
- Engage with customers to resolve issues and offer preventive health services, including immunizations.
- Process insurance claims and partner with Central Pharmacy Operations to support store needs.
- Maintain knowledge of pharmacy technology systems and assist with staff training and hiring.
- Participate in community outreach to promote pharmacy services and build relationships with local medical providers.
What you'll need#
- A willingness to obtain a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree.
- Ability to obtain pharmacist licensure from the Board of Pharmacy within 90 days of hire.
- Current certification as an immunizer or a willingness to become certified within 90 days of hire.
