About the role#
This is a full-time Pharmacy Intern Grad position based in Denver, Colorado. You will work on-site, providing clinical and operational support to the pharmacy team. This role focuses on patient care, medication management, and efficient pharmacy operations.
What you'll do#
- Consult with customers on medication usage, drug interactions, and preventive healthcare.
- Perform clinical tasks including compounding, drug therapy reviews, and medication verification.
- Administer immunizations and flu shots while providing wellness services.
- Support the pharmacy manager with financial analysis, inventory management, and pharmacy operations.
- Process insurance claims and coordinate with medical providers to clarify prescriptions.
- Assist with staff training, hiring, and performance coaching.
- Engage with the community through outreach activities to promote pharmacy services.
- Maintain pharmacy systems and suggest improvements to boost productivity.
What you'll need#
- A Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree from an accredited institution prior to your start date.
- Ability to obtain pharmacist licensure from the Board of Pharmacy within 90 days of hire.
- Certification as an immunizer or the willingness to become certified within 90 days of hire.
