About the role#
This is a full-time Pharmacy Intern Grad position based on-site in North Arlington, New Jersey. You will work under the guidance of the pharmacy manager to support daily operations, clinical services, and patient care. This role involves a rolling term and provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a retail pharmacy setting.
What you'll do#
- Provide pharmacy consulting services to customers regarding medication usage, drug interactions, and preventive healthcare.
- Perform clinical tasks including immunizations, compounding, and medication verification.
- Assist the pharmacy manager with daily operations, including inventory management, performance data analysis, and staff training.
- Maintain pharmacy systems such as Intercom Plus, registers, and StoreNET.
- Process insurance claims and resolve customer issues to ensure a positive patient experience.
- Open and close the pharmacy and handle shift change duties.
- Build relationships with the local medical community and healthcare providers.
- Ensure all pharmacy operations comply with regulations and company policies.
What you'll need#
- Willingness to obtain a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree from an accredited institution.
- Ability to obtain pharmacist licensure from the Board of Pharmacy within 90 days of hire.
- Status as a Certified Immunizer or the willingness to become one within 90 days of hire.
