About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern Grad, you will work on-site in a retail pharmacy setting. This is a full-time position with a rolling term. You will assist the pharmacy manager with daily operations, clinical services, and staff support while preparing for your full pharmacist licensure.
What you'll do#
- Provide pharmacy consulting services and counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, and interactions.
- Manage the compounding, dispensation, review, and verification of prescribed medications.
- Support pharmacy workflow by handling opening and closing duties, shift changes, and insurance claim processing.
- Engage with customers to resolve issues and offer assistance with products and services.
- Perform clinical and wellness services including immunizations, flu shots, and diabetes awareness activities.
- Assist the pharmacy manager with inventory management, financial analysis, staff training, and hiring.
- Build relationships with the local medical community and participate in outreach programs.
- Maintain knowledge of pharmacy information technology and company systems.
What you'll need#
- You must obtain a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree from an accredited institution before your start date.
- You must be willing to obtain pharmacist licensure from the state Board of Pharmacy within 90 days of hire.
- You must be a certified immunizer or willing to become one within 90 days of hire.

- Compensation: Paid position with a salary range of $33.50 to $45.30 per hour.
