About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will learn to provide patient care by assisting the pharmacist and the pharmacy team. You will operate pharmacy systems to manage patient information and process prescriptions. This role involves following state, federal, and company policies while developing the skills needed for a career in pharmacy.
What you'll do#
- Engage with customers by greeting them, answering questions, and resolving issues.
- Assist in the practice of pharmacy by entering, filling, and dispensing prescriptions under pharmacist supervision.
- Support pharmacists in delivering patient care services, such as counseling and health screenings.
- Manage pharmacy inventory, including ordering, unpacking, and storing pharmaceutical shipments.
- Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy department.
- Handle pharmacy telephone calls and register sales at the cash terminal.
- Report prescription errors immediately to the pharmacist on duty.
- Complete all required training and stay updated on pharmacy developments.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a school of Pharmacy program.
- Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

- Location: Amelia, Ohio.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Employment type: Part-time with flexible hours.
- Compensation: $19.50 to $31.00 per hour, depending on experience and skills.
