About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the supervision of a pharmacist to support daily operations and patient care. This role focuses on learning pharmacy systems, procedures, and customer service standards while assisting the pharmacy team in accordance with state and federal regulations.
What you'll do#
- Assist the pharmacist and pharmacy team members with daily tasks.
- Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient information and process prescriptions.
- Enter, fill, and dispense prescriptions under pharmacist supervision.
- Engage customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
- Handle pharmacy telephone calls that do not require the pharmacist's personal attention.
- Assist with inventory management, including unpacking and storing pharmaceutical shipments.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy department.
- Report any prescription errors immediately to the pharmacist on duty.
- Register sales on assigned cash registers.
- Complete all required training programs.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a school of Pharmacy program.
- Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

- The role is on-site and full-time.
- This is a paid internship with rolling start dates.
