About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will learn to provide quality patient experiences while assisting the pharmacy team. You will work under the supervision of a pharmacist to support daily operations and gain practical experience in a retail pharmacy setting. This role is part-time and follows a rolling schedule.
What you'll do#
- Assist pharmacists and staff with daily pharmacy operations.
- Use pharmacy systems to manage patient information and process prescriptions.
- Enter, fill, and dispense prescriptions according to company procedures.
- Engage with customers by greeting them, answering questions, and resolving issues.
- Support inventory management by ordering, unpacking, and storing pharmaceutical shipments.
- Handle pharmacy telephone calls that do not require a pharmacist.
- Register sales at the cash register.
- Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy department.
- Report any prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty immediately.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a school of Pharmacy program.
- Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

- Compensation: This is a paid position with an hourly range of $19.50 to $31.00.
