About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in a retail pharmacy setting. You will work under the supervision of a pharmacist to support daily operations and patient care. This role focuses on learning pharmacy systems, following safety regulations, and providing service to customers.
What you'll do#
- Assist the pharmacist and pharmacy team with daily tasks and patient care services.
- Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and manage patient information.
- Greet customers, answer questions, and resolve issues to ensure a positive experience.
- Help with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and checking shipments.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy department.
- Handle pharmacy telephone calls that do not require a pharmacist.
- Report any prescription errors immediately to the pharmacist on duty.
- Operate the cash register for related sales.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a school of Pharmacy program.
- Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- A willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

- This is an on-site, paid position.
