About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the supervision of a pharmacist to support daily operations and patient care. This role provides hands-on experience in a retail pharmacy setting, allowing you to learn pharmacy systems, policy, and customer service practices while assisting with prescriptions and health services.
What you'll do#
- Assist the pharmacy team with prescription processing and data entry using pharmacy systems.
- Greet customers, answer their questions, and resolve service issues.
- Support health services such as medication therapy management and blood pressure screenings.
- Handle pharmacy inventory tasks, including ordering, unpacking, and storing shipments.
- Register sales at the cash register and manage telephone inquiries that do not require a pharmacist.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy department.
- Report any prescription errors to the pharmacist immediately.
- Complete all required training and follow company policies and legal regulations.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a school of Pharmacy program.
- Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- A willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

- Compensation: $19.50 to $31.00 per hour, depending on experience and skills.
