About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in a retail pharmacy setting. You will work under the supervision of a pharmacist to support daily operations, patient care, and clinical services. This role is designed to help you build the skills necessary for a career in pharmacy while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
What you'll do#
- Assist the pharmacist and pharmacy team with daily tasks and pharmacy operations.
- Use pharmacy systems to retrieve patient information and process prescriptions.
- Enter, fill, and dispense prescriptions following company procedures.
- Support patient care services, such as medication therapy management, blood pressure checks, and patient counseling.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide assistance with products.
- Manage pharmacy inventory, including ordering, unpacking, and organizing shipments.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and well-stocked pharmacy department.
- Process sales on the cash register and handle telephone calls that do not require a pharmacist.
- Report any prescription errors immediately to the pharmacist on duty.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a school of Pharmacy program.
- Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

- Location: Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.
- This is a part-time, paid internship.
- The position operates on a rolling basis.
