About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the supervision of a pharmacist to assist in the practice of pharmacy. You will learn to provide patient care and support the pharmacy team while following state and federal regulations. This role is based in Edina, Minnesota, and operates on a rolling, full-time basis.
What you'll do#
- Process prescriptions by entering data, handling third-party processing, filling, and dispensing medications.
- Use pharmacy systems to retrieve patient and drug information.
- Assist pharmacists in delivering patient care services, including medication therapy management and health screenings.
- Engage with customers and patients to answer questions, resolve issues, and provide assistance with products.
- Manage pharmacy inventory by ordering, unpacking, and organizing shipments.
- Handle telephone calls and register sales at the cash terminal.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy department.
- Report any prescription errors immediately to the pharmacist on duty.
- Complete all required training and stay informed on pharmacy news and developments.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a school of Pharmacy program.
- Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- A willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

- Compensation: Paid position with an hourly range of $19.50 to $31.00.
