About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the supervision of a pharmacist to assist with daily operations and patient care. This role is designed to help you gain practical experience while supporting the pharmacy team in accordance with state and federal regulations.
What you'll do#
- Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and retrieve patient or drug information.
- Assist pharmacists in delivering patient care services within the state scope of practice.
- Greet customers, answer questions, and resolve issues to provide support.
- Manage inventory tasks, including ordering, unpacking, and storing pharmaceutical shipments.
- Handle cash register transactions and sales.
- Manage telephone calls that do not require the pharmacist's personal attention.
- Report any prescription errors immediately to the pharmacist on duty.
- Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy department.
- Complete special assignments and other tasks as directed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a school of Pharmacy program.
- Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- A willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

- Employment Type: Part-time, rolling term.
- Compensation: This is a paid position with an hourly range of $19.50 to $31.00.
