About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the supervision of a pharmacist to support daily operations and patient care. This role focuses on learning pharmacy procedures, handling prescriptions, and gaining hands-on experience in a retail setting. You will assist the pharmacy team while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
What you'll do#
- Assist pharmacists and other healthcare providers in delivering patient care and services.
- Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient information and process prescriptions.
- Engage with customers to answer questions, resolve issues, and provide assistance.
- Handle inventory management tasks, including ordering, unpacking, and stocking pharmaceuticals.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked pharmacy department.
- Register sales at the cash register and handle telephone inquiries that do not require a pharmacist.
- Report any prescription errors immediately to the pharmacist on duty.
- Complete all required training and follow company policies.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a school of Pharmacy program.
- Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- A willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

- Compensation: $19.50 to $31.00 per hour, depending on experience and skills.
