About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will learn to assist the pharmacist and pharmacy team in providing patient care. This role involves using pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and manage patient information. You will gain experience in pharmacy operations while working under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
What you'll do#
You will help deliver a positive customer experience by greeting patients, answering questions, and resolving issues. Your daily tasks include entering and filling prescriptions, managing pharmacy inventory, and handling cash register sales. You will also assist pharmacists with patient care services within the scope of your state practice. Maintaining a clean and organized pharmacy department is a key part of the job. You will report any prescription errors immediately and follow company policies, including those regarding Good Faith Dispensing.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a school of Pharmacy program.
- Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
Location & details#
This is a part-time, on-site position located in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin. The role is paid, with an hourly pay range of $19.50 to $31.00 depending on skills, education, and experience. This is a rolling position.
