About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will gain hands-on experience by assisting the pharmacist and the pharmacy team. You will follow state and federal regulations while learning the operational and clinical aspects of pharmacy practice. This is a part-time role based in Novi, Michigan.
What you'll do#
- Support the pharmacy team by processing prescriptions and using pharmacy systems to manage patient information.
- Engage with patients by answering questions, resolving issues, and offering assistance with products.
- Assist in clinical services, including patient counseling and health services, under the supervision of a pharmacist.
- Handle operational tasks such as inventory management, maintaining department cleanliness, and processing sales at the register.
- Manage incoming telephone calls and assist with prescription filling and dispensing.
- Complete required training and professional development to build your skills as a future pharmacist.
- Report prescription errors immediately and follow company quality improvement policies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a school of Pharmacy program.
- Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- A flexible schedule that includes availability for evening and weekend hours.

- Compensation: $19.50 to $31.00 per hour, depending on experience and skills.
