About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work alongside pharmacists and pharmacy team members to learn the practice of pharmacy. You will assist in daily operations while gaining experience in patient care and customer service. This role is part-time and follows a rolling schedule.
What you'll do#
- Assist the pharmacist in the practice of pharmacy, including entering, processing, filling, and dispensing prescriptions.
- Engage with customers by greeting them, answering questions, and resolving issues.
- Help deliver patient care services such as blood pressure checks and medication therapy management under pharmacist supervision.
- Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient information and process drug orders.
- Manage pharmacy inventory by ordering, unpacking, and checking shipments.
- Handle cash register transactions and assist customers with locating products in the OTC aisle.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy department.
- Report any prescription errors immediately to the pharmacist on duty.
- Handle telephone calls that do not require the personal attention of a pharmacist.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a school of Pharmacy program.
- Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

- Location: Dublin, Ohio.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $19.50 to $31.00 per hour, depending on skills, education, and experience.
- Employment Type: Part-time.
