About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will support the pharmacy team by learning and applying pharmacy operations under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. This role focuses on building patient care skills and understanding the regulatory standards required for pharmacy practice.
What you'll do#
- Greet customers, answer questions, and resolve issues to ensure a positive experience.
- Assist in the practice of pharmacy, including prescription data entry, third party processing, filling, and dispensing.
- Help pharmacists deliver patient care services, such as medication therapy management and health screenings.
- Manage inventory tasks, including ordering, unpacking, and storing pharmaceutical shipments.
- Handle non-clinical telephone calls and assist customers in the OTC aisle.
- Process sales transactions on the cash register.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy department.
- Report prescription errors immediately and follow all company policies regarding good faith dispensing and asset protection.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a school of Pharmacy program.
- Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- A flexible schedule, including the ability to work evenings and weekends.

- This position is located in West Palm Beach, Florida.
- This is an on-site, full-time, paid internship with a rolling term.
