About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will learn to provide patient care while assisting the pharmacy team. You will work under the supervision of a pharmacist to gain experience in pharmacy operations, patient services, and regulatory compliance, preparing you for a future career as a pharmacist.
What you'll do#
- Assist the pharmacist and team members with daily operations.
- Use pharmacy systems to process, fill, and dispense prescriptions.
- Engage with patients by answering questions, resolving issues, and providing counseling or medication therapy management.
- Handle inventory tasks, including ordering, unpacking, and organizing pharmaceutical shipments.
- Manage cash register sales and handle telephone inquiries.
- Maintain a clean and orderly pharmacy department.
- Report prescription errors and follow company quality improvement policies.
- Complete all required training and stay updated on healthcare developments.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a school of Pharmacy program.
- Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

- Compensation: $19.50 to $31.00 per hour, depending on experience and skills.
