About the role#
This is a full-time, paid Pharmacy Graduate Intern position based in Wisconsin Dells. You will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to complete State Board of Pharmacy requirements. This role focuses on clinical services, patient consultation, and pharmacy operations.
What you'll do#
- Provide pharmacy consulting services, including medication usage, side effects, and preventive healthcare.
- Perform compounding, dispensation, review, and verification of medications.
- Assist the pharmacy manager with inventory management, financial optimization, and pharmacy operations.
- Engage with customers to provide support, answer questions, and resolve issues.
- Deliver clinical and wellness services such as immunizations.
- Support staff hiring, training, and performance management.
- Ensure all pharmacy activities comply with regulations and company policies.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from an accredited university outside the United States.
- Foreign Pharmacist Graduate Equivalency Certificate (FPGEC).
- An intern permit or certificate issued by the Board of Pharmacy, if required by your state.
- Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure within 45 days of completing your intern hours.
- Current certification as an immunizer, or a willingness to become certified within 90 days of hire.
