About the role#
This position is for pharmacy graduates who earned their degree outside of the United States. You will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to complete State Board of Pharmacy requirements. The role is full-time and based on-site in Fountain, Colorado.
What you'll do#
- Provide pharmacy consulting services to customers regarding medication usage, drug interactions, and preventive healthcare.
- Perform clinical and wellness services, including immunizations and flu shots.
- Assist with compounding, dispensation, review, and verification of prescribed medications.
- Support the pharmacy manager in optimizing store financials, inventory management, and customer experience.
- Help with staff hiring and training, and provide coaching to team members.
- Maintain proficiency with pharmacy systems such as Intercom Plus, registers, automation, and StoreNET.
- Ensure pharmacy operations follow all regulations and company policies.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from an accredited university outside the United States.
- Foreign Pharmacist Graduate Equivalency Certificate (FPGEC).
- An intern permit or certificate issued by the Board of Pharmacy, if required in the state.
- Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure within 45 days of completing intern hours.
- Current certification as an immunizer, or a willingness to become certified within 90 days of hire.
