About the role#
As a Community Management Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in retail operations and customer service. You will work directly with store leadership to understand how to manage inventory, maintain store standards, and engage with the local community. This role involves a mix of daily operational tasks, team projects, and professional development opportunities.
What you'll do#
- Greet customers and patients to offer assistance and resolve their questions or concerns.
- Handle register transactions, including product returns, voids, and refunds.
- Model customer service standards and share best practices with the team.
- Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation, restocking, and analyzing trends.
- Set up promotional displays and manage store resets and revisions.
- Perform daily pricing updates and ensure all signage is accurate.
- Maintain store appearance and assist with interior and exterior maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with regulations regarding items like alcohol and tobacco.
- Analyze financial, performance, and asset protection data to support loss reduction.
- Participate in the Intern Team Challenge and present projects to company leadership.
- Attend training sessions, complete E-learnings, and shadow a district leader.
- Plan and attend community events and report customer complaints to management.
What you'll need#
- You are currently a student beginning or completing your senior year of a Bachelor degree program.
- You are fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- You are available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- Prior knowledge of store inventory control is helpful but not required.

- This position is located in Phoenix, Arizona.
- The role is full-time and on-site.
- This is a paid internship with a salary range of $17.00 to $19.50 per hour.
- The internship term is rolling.
