About the role#
We are looking for a graduate student to join our team for a part-time, remote role. You will gain hands-on experience by working on real-world operations and business challenges. This position involves supply strategy, data analytics, artificial intelligence, and workflow automation. You will work closely with our team to analyze processes, develop data-driven solutions, and create tools that support business decision-making.
What you'll do#
- Collect, organize, and interpret data to generate business insights.
- Build dashboards, reports, and analytical tools to track operational performance.
- Automate recurring reports and analyses.
- Identify process bottlenecks and develop efficient, automated workflows.
- Document your solutions to support future use and adoption.
- Assist in the design, construction, and testing of AI-enabled tools.
- Refine prompts and workflows to improve the accuracy of AI outputs.
- Explore new AI capabilities to apply to current business operations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a graduate degree program in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Advanced Excel skills, including experience with Power Query, Power Pivot, DAX, VBA, macros, and complex formulas.
- Familiarity with the MS Office suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to organize information and communicate findings clearly.
- Proficiency in English.
- Experience with generative AI, prompt engineering, or automation platforms is preferred.
- Familiarity with Python, SQL, or Power Automate is a plus.
