About the role#
Student Warehouse Associates perform essential tasks to ensure veterinary clinics receive their supplies in good condition and on time. This role supports the operations team by managing product orders and maintaining a safe, organized workspace. Employees must be able to walk or stand for the duration of their shift and lift up to 50lbs as needed.
What you'll do#
- Pick and verify product orders to ensure accuracy.
- Pack orders to prevent damage during transport and apply shipping labels as required.
- Maintain the warehouse by keeping shelves neat and free of excess packaging or debris.
- Complete daily warehouse preparation tasks and follow all standard operating procedures.
- Participate in health and safety training and follow all company safety policies.
What you'll need#
- Must be at least 15 years of age.
- Must be currently enrolled in high school.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Capacity to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site position located in St. Marys, Ontario.
- The role is part-time with a rolling term.
- Operational days are Sunday through Friday, with a requirement to be available for Sunday shifts and scheduled statutory holidays.
- Schedules typically follow a two-week rotation averaging 13 to 17 hours per week during the school year, with potential for increased hours during the summer months.
