    About the role#

    This 12-week internship offers hands-on experience in the development and construction of systems for artificial-gravity human-rated space stations. Interns work alongside industry experts to address real-world engineering challenges in the defense and space manufacturing sector.

    What you'll do#

    • Contribute to the development and build of systems for space operations.
    • Collaborate across diverse teams to solve complex engineering problems.
    • Apply technical skills to hands-on projects involving the design and construction of space hardware and software.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master’s degree program in manufacturing, mechanical, aerospace, or a related engineering discipline.
    • Proficiency in CAD software, such as SolidWorks or CATIA, for 3D modeling and simulation.
    • Strong engineering problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.
    • Basic knowledge of engineering principles and equipment.
    • Ability to work full-time on-site.

    • Location: Long Beach, California.
    • Term: Fall 2026.
    • Modality: Full-time, on-site.
    • Compensation: $35/hr for undergraduate interns; $40/hr for Master's interns.
