Systems Engineering Co-Op

About the role#

As a Systems Engineering Co-Op, you will contribute to the System Testing Discipline by increasing test coverage of system requirements. You will work on both bench and vehicle-level testing to ensure product quality and meet deadlines for System Baseline Audits. This role involves collaborating with the tools team to develop automation frameworks and scripts, with an emphasis on utilizing AI-assisted development tools.

What you'll do#

• Develop test specifications and test cases to ensure full coverage of system interfaces and stakeholder requirements.
• Write automation scripts for assigned modules to achieve 90% coverage.
• Execute smoke tests, regression tests, and full validation at the vehicle level.
• Perform DVP&R according to customer requirements, including vehicle debugging, troubleshooting, and trace analysis.
• Manage the commissioning, bring-up, and maintenance of test benches while maintaining 5S standards.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Ability to develop comprehensive test specifications and test cases.
• Experience with automation scripting.
• Understanding of vehicle testing processes.
• Authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship.
