About the role#
Dr. Lammle is hiring a Research Assistant to join ongoing neuroscience projects in his lab. This role supports research on advanced neuroimaging, including functional, vascular, and perfusion imaging of the brain, as well as MR elastography. You will work on collaborative projects involving medical specialties, computer science, and bioinformatics. This is a part-time position with hours to be arranged with your mentor.
What you'll do#
- Process advanced and functional imaging data sets with post-processing software.
- Analyze data using various anatomical or functional imaging modalities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student at Upstate Medical University.
- Approval for financial aid through the Student Financial Aid office at Upstate.
- Official approval and acceptance of Federal Work Study.
- Interest in advanced neuroimaging, brain function, cerebral vascular flow, connectome, and elastography.
- Enrollment in a graduate medical, health sciences, or public health program is preferred.
Location & details#
- This position is located on-site in Syracuse, New York.
- Work occurs Monday through Friday.
- The pay rate is $17 per hour.
