About the role#
The Library Student Assistant supports the daily operations of the library. You will interact with patrons and staff to ensure the library runs smoothly. This is a part-time position available to current students who have been approved for Federal Work Study.
What you'll do#
- Answer questions from patrons via phone, in-person, and chat.
- Use software to loan study room keys and library materials.
- Help with special projects and events.
- Assist with opening and closing the library.
- Complete daily and weekly tasks as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student at Upstate Medical University.
- Approval for Federal Work Study through the Student Financial Aid office.
Location & details#
- Location: Syracuse, New York.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Various shifts available Monday through Friday, 8am to 8pm.
- Pay: $17 per hour.
