About the role#
Upchurch is looking for a Construction Intern to join our team. This role offers hands-on experience in construction operations, project management, and field activities. You will work alongside professionals to learn the day-to-day processes that support our projects.
What you'll do#
- Assist project teams with daily administrative and operational tasks.
- Support project managers, superintendents, and estimators.
- Review project documents, drawings, schedules, and reports.
- Maintain accurate project records and documentation.
- Track materials, equipment, and project schedules.
- Participate in project meetings to learn construction processes.
- Support both field and office personnel with various tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree, certificate, or coursework related to Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or Safety.
- A strong interest in the construction industry.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills with familiarity in Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.

- This is a remote, full-time, paid internship.
