The Student Records and Registration Specialist is a full-time, six-month term position based on-site at the University of Toronto Mississauga. Reporting to the Associate Registrar, this role focuses on the integrity of academic records, enrollment management, and the interpretation of university policies to support student success and graduation.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate admission processes in collaboration with departmental and divisional contacts.
- Track and monitor student course enrollments while verifying the accuracy of this information.
- Review and assess student records to determine academic standing and communicate changes to students.
- Track departmental transfer assessment decisions.
- Review and process student requests to attend other institutions via Letters of Permission.
- Stay informed on university policies, procedures, and regulatory deadlines.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least three years of experience working with student records and registrations.
- Demonstrated experience in maintaining student records, verifying cumulative grade point averages, and ensuring data accuracy.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Degree Explorer, and Student Information Systems.
- Strong communication and customer relations skills.
- Academic background in Business Administration, Communications, Psychology, or Criminal Justice is relevant to this function.
