About the role#
The Program Coordinator for International Student Development Programs works within the International Student Experience (ISE) Team to develop and deliver resources that support students throughout their academic journey. This role focuses on creating inclusive programming, fostering collaboration across campus departments, and ensuring that international students have access to effective support services and outreach initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Plan and implement curricular and co-curricular programs and activities.
- Develop content for marketing and promotional materials.
- Write summary reports on programs and services to evaluate their impact.
- Coordinate the recruitment process and training for casual staff.
- Develop strategies to maximize outreach and engagement with the student body.
- Determine logistical details for events and programming.
- Maintain networks to build capacity and collaboration across university portfolios.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in designing, delivering, and evaluating international student experience programs.
- Demonstrated experience leading large components of projects.
- Exceptional intercultural competency and experience working with diverse communities and cultures.
- Excellent administrative skills, including word processing, data analysis, desktop publishing, and experience with databases.
- Strong assessment skills with the ability to develop tools for data analysis and program evaluation.
