About the role#
The Client Services Coordinator for Student Academic Records oversees administrative processes and services within the University Registrar's Office. This role manages student academic records programs, including domestic tuition fee appeals and international fee exemption applications. The incumbent acts as a primary point of contact for students, staff, and third parties, providing guidance on university policies and regulations. This is a full-time position based on-site in Toronto.
What you'll do#
- Oversee student academic records processes and services.
- Create and update student records while ensuring data accuracy.
- Resolve complex, escalated, or sensitive client issues.
- Develop and deliver training materials regarding academic record services and procedures.
- Draft internal and external communications.
- Manage departmental webpages and coordinate service delivery between internal departments.
- Provide counseling to students and alumni via telephone, email, and service tickets.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor's degree or an acceptable combination of equivalent experience.
- Minimum of four years of relevant experience in direct client service delivery.
- Experience delivering training, preferably within a unionized environment.
- Experience using technology to enhance enquiry service delivery.
- Strong student service orientation with the ability to exercise tact and diplomacy.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-volume environment under pressure.
- Strong proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet software, and website management.
- Demonstrated commitment to maintaining confidentiality regarding student information.
