About the role#
This is a paid, full-time co-op position for the Summer 2026 term. The IT Technician will support the university's technology environment by assisting students and faculty with their technical needs.
What you'll do#
- Provide direct technical support to students and faculty members.
- Assist in the maintenance of IT infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and resolve various software problems.
- Install and configure computers and peripheral devices.
- Document and track all support requests to ensure proper follow-up.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or Data Science programs.
- Strong technical support skills and familiarity with IT systems and networks.
- Ability to effectively troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with the university community.
- Adaptability to learn and work with new technologies.
