The Truth and Reconciliation Action Committee (TRAC) is a volunteer student governance committee at the University of Alberta Students' Union. The committee is mandated to guide the organization's work toward reconciliation. This is a one-year volunteer position running from May 2026 to April 2027, with the selection process managed by the Indigenous Students' Union.
What you'll do#
- Attend committee meetings, which take place approximately once or twice a month.
- Review all meeting materials in advance to ensure informed decision-making.
- Contribute to committee discussions and initiatives regarding the UASU's reconciliation mandate.
What you'll need#
- Applicants must be First Nations, Métis, and/or Inuit.
- You must be a University of Alberta undergraduate student registered in at least one course for credit in the Fall and Winter semesters of the 2026/27 academic year.
- This position is open to students from all faculties and all experience levels are welcome.
