About the role#
The Evidence and Advocacy Intern supports the FP2030 Global Data, Evidence, and Advocacy teams. You will assist with the production and dissemination of High Impact Practices for family planning, conduct desk research for financing briefs, and help coordinate webinars. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to projects focused on sustainable financing, artificial intelligence, and global policy mapping.
What you'll do#
- Support dissemination webinars for priority High Impact Practices.
- Take notes and track action items from meetings of the HIPs Technical Advisory Group.
- Conduct desk research for Innovation and Evidence briefs regarding sustainable financing and AI.
- Help develop a dissemination strategy for the Innovation and Evidence series.
- Map global and regional policy and financing forums for 2027.
- Research financing topics for publication ahead of the Devex Summit.
- Assist with civil society organization webinars on financing mechanisms.
- Update the list of non-governmental commitment makers and coordinate with the communications team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or graduation from an accredited college or university.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- A personal laptop and reliable internet access.
- Strong organizational, writing, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and take initiative as a self-starter.
- A background in international development, global health, communications, or journalism is preferred.
- Passion for sexual and reproductive health and rights.
- Ability to meet regular attendance requirements.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, part-time internship based in Washington, District of Columbia.
- The role follows a hybrid work schedule requiring regular in-office presence.
- The position term is rolling.
