Sport Science Intern

About the role#

The Sport Science Intern will join the department to gain real-world experience in a corporate sports environment. This role involves direct participation in daily operations, supporting the team through monitoring, assessment, and data-driven projects that contribute to the organization's performance objectives.

What you'll do#

• Assist the Sport Science Department with monitoring and assessment tasks.
• Aid in the planning, preparation, and calibration of testing equipment and evaluation activities.
• Implement monitoring and assessment interventions to support research and performance goals.
• Handle data processing, maintain databases, and perform data analytics.
• Ensure the laboratory and its equipment are kept clean, hygienic, and compliant with safety protocols.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in an institution of higher education pursuing a degree in Kinesiology, Biology, Biomedical Sciences, Health Administration, Psychology, or Nutrition.
• Must be currently living in the United States.
• Strong data management and analysis skills.
• Ability to deliver a variety of physiological testing protocols and follow methodological procedures.
• Experience working with athletes in weight-categorized sports is desired.
