Performance Nutrition Intern

About the role#

The Performance Nutrition Intern will support the Performance Nutrition team at the UFC Performance Institute. This position is designed for students interested in gaining practical experience within a professional sports environment, focusing on the nutritional needs of elite combat athletes.

What you'll do#

• Assist the Performance Nutrition team with daily sport nutrition-related tasks.
• Manage the fueling station and prepare fueling and recovery nutrition as needed.
• Help plan and prepare snacks and meal plans for athletes.
• Deliver individual athlete education.
• Maintain a clean and hygienic nutritional environment within the facility.
• Collaborate in an inter-disciplinary role with other technical departments.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a relevant academic program, such as Nutrition, Kinesiology, or Public Health.
• Possession of, or working toward, an RD or CSSD certification.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet outcome goals.
• A strong desire to work with elite combat athletes.

Location & details#

• Location: Las Vegas, Nevada (On-site).
• Term: Fall 2026 (12 weeks).
• This is a paid internship.
• No relocation, housing, or transportation assistance is provided.
