Software Development Intern

About the role#

This Software Development Internship offers the opportunity to gain real-world engineering experience while collaborating with a team focused on applied safety science. You will contribute to projects that help ensure products and supply chains utilize ethically and sustainably sourced materials, ultimately helping to deliver safer products that meet current requirements.

What you'll do#

• Collaborate with a team to develop software solutions.
• Work with frontend technologies including HTML, CSS, Tailwind CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js, UI frameworks like antd and shadcn, and state management tools such as Redux and React Context API.
• Utilize backend technologies including Node.js, Python, Express.js for RESTful API development, and SQL/NoSQL databases like SQLite, MySQL, and MongoDB.

What you'll need#

• Must be at least 18 years old at the time of application.
• Indefinite right to work in the U.S. (sponsorship is not provided).
• BS degree or Bootcamp completion in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related coding field.
• 1-3 years of total experience, with at least 1 year in software-related projects.
• Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.

• Work Modality: Hybrid (expectations to be onsite Tuesday-Thursday after initial onboarding).
• Employment Type: Full-time, paid internship.
