About the role#
As a Student Outcomes Coordinator on the Next Command team, you will guide students from their initial career conversations through job placement and post-graduation follow-up. You will act as a primary resource for an assigned group of students, helping them identify career opportunities, navigate the hiring process, and overcome obstacles. This is a high-touch role that requires building relationships and managing multiple student timelines simultaneously.
What you'll do#
- Conduct Career Compass conversations to understand student experience, goals, and career interests.
- Lead 1:1 sessions focused on job targeting, resume and LinkedIn positioning, and interview preparation.
- Own the active job-search process for assigned students through to placement.
- Maintain accurate, timely records of student activity, interviews, offers, and placement status.
- Conduct scheduled post-placement follow-ups to understand employment status, retention, and role alignment.
What you'll need#
- 2+ years of experience in career services, workforce development, recruiting, talent acquisition, case management, student services, or veteran transition.
- Exceptional organization with the ability to manage multiple people, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Confidence conducting structured conversations in person, by phone, video, and email.
- Disciplined documentation and recordkeeping habits.
- Genuine respect for and commitment to veterans and transitioning service members.

- This is a full-time, on-site position.
- The role is based in Gentry, Arkansas, and Bentonville, Arkansas.
- This position follows a rolling term.
