About the role#
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce offers a paid internship for the Fall 2026 term. This program provides hands-on experience in research, policy, and communications. You will work with a team to support pro-business priorities while building your professional network through meetings and workshops.
What you'll do#
- Conduct policy research and track legislation.
- Draft memos and provide communications support.
- Assist with event planning and coordination.
- Engage with stakeholders on key issues like economic growth, healthcare, and energy.
What you'll need#
- You must be a current college or graduate student, or have graduated within the past six months.
- You need U.S. work authorization to be eligible for this role.
- We welcome students from majors including Political Science, Economics, and Public Health.
Location & details#
- This is a hybrid role based at our headquarters in Washington, D.C.
- You are expected to work in the office at least three days per week.
- The internship runs from September 14 through November 20.
- This is a part-time, paid position with an hourly rate between $18.00 and $20.00.
