About the role#
TULLOCH is hiring a Planner student for the Winter 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Sudbury, Ontario. You will work within the engineering division to support various planning projects.
What you'll do#
- Assist with all aspects of planning project delivery for large and small developments.
- Perform property due diligence and analyze land potential.
- Prepare Planning Act applications, including zoning by-law amendments, minor variances, and site plan control.
- Attend site visits to review constraints and surrounding contexts.
- Coordinate with municipalities, government agencies, and other professionals.
- Use AutoCAD and other design software to complete tasks.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Land Use Planning program or a relevant field of study.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience or knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication abilities.
- A valid Class G driver’s licence.
- A commitment to workplace health and safety.
- High motivation and a focus on results.

- Compensation: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour.
